About the Qualification:
This qualification covers workers who provide therapeutic and program related support to allied health professionals. The worker is required to conduct therapeutic and program related activities under the guidance of an allied health professional. Supervision may be direct, indirect or remote and must occur within organisation requirements. The worker is required to identify client circumstances that need additional input from the allied health professional.

Entry Requirements for eRecognition
- Minimum of 2 years (recent) experience working as an AHA.
- Ability to access a computer with broadband internet access. Access may be at home, in the workplace, a nearby worksite, library or other place where access is readily available.
- Management and workplace support to undertake the eRecognition process.
- Access to 3 referees (all MUST have email adresses).
- A proficiency in language, literacy and numeracy at the equivalent AQTF level (i.e. ability to write basic letters and reports in a clear and concise manner).
Pathways
Charles Sturt University offers graduates from the AIFL’s Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance 2 credits in their Bachelor of Rehabilitation Science.
The University of New England allows individuals who hold our Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance direct entry into their Bachelor of Health, Ageing and Community Services.
