This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. Your role may be in any industry or organisational setting. You will have considerable experience in your respective industries or vocational area with managerial responsibilities.

Typical job titles would include: manager; coordinator; team leader; supervisor or leading hand.

This eRecognition pathway is for people with vocational experience, as described above but without a formal supervision or management qualification.

Entry Requirements for eRecognition

  • A sound theoretical knowledge base and managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate own work and/or the work of a team.
  • Ability to access a computer with broadband internet access. Access may be at home, in the workplace, a nearby worksite, library or other place where access is readily available.
  • Management and workplace support to undertake the eRecognition process.
  • Access to 3 referees (all MUST have email adresses).
  • A proficiency in language, literacy and numeracy at the equivalent AQTF level (i.e. ability to write basic letters and reports in a clear and concise manner).

Pathways from the Diploma of Management

Candidates who complete this qualification are eligible for up to 2 years of credit towards the following qualifications at the University of New England

Bachelor of Training and Development
Bachelor of Administrative Leadership
