This qualification enables you to work across the community sector, in a number of different organizations and environments.

  • Community agencies
  • Government departments

Qualified Community Services Coordinators are competent to:

  • Apply the knowledge and skills gained through this qualification and/or previous experience, to resolve problems within organisational guidelines
  • Coordinate specific programs and/or projects
  • Supervise and/or coordinate a limited number of lower classified workers or volunteers
  • Report to service managers
  • Undertake a first-line management role
